The Turyol Ferry Service is an alternative to the IDO city ferry service, and runs more of less along the same routes – but their ferries are more modern, with a more frequent service, and faster.

In fact, there’s a 2 hour IDO Bosphorus Tour, which only takes 1 1/2 hours on a Turyol ferry.

    1. Absolutely! Grab a ferry and go for a quick trip over to the other side. Or take the long tour up the Bosphorus, which makes numerous stops on both continents. The short Bosphorus tour, only goes as far as the Bosphorus Bridge before turning round – it doesn’t make any mainland stops.

  1. Absolutely loving the Bosphorus tour vibes! Thanks for taking us along on this traditional ferry ride through Istanbul. Your insights and stunning photos make me feel like I’m right there with you. Ready to set sail on my own Turkish adventure!
