Fitzgerald Marine Reserve is just north of Half Moon Bay. It’s famous for it’s tide pools and Seal Cove Beach. The best time to visit is low tide.

Point Montara Lighthouse is nestled between San Francisco and Half Moon Bay. The Coast Guard Quarters are now a hostel for cheap California Accommodation.

I went housesitting in Northern California near Half Moon Bay looking after 2 adorable dogs. We had plenty of walks along Montara State beach in the sun and during the fog, which seems pretty prevalent this time of year.

The Green Landscape of Norfolk sprouts blankets of yellows each spring with rapeseed flowers, and there are many other yellow flowers in the hedgerows and along the lanes during my dog sitting adventures.

The Bure Valley Railway is Norfolk’s longest fifteen inch gauge line, which runs between the ancient market town of Aylsham and Wroxham. I became an avid train spotting during my daily walks with the dogs during my house sit in Norfolk.

This pair of swans live on the stretch of the Bure River near the Buxton Mill, and I saw them on a daily basis during my Norfolk House Sit.

For two months I changed Lanes from California to British countryside for a Norfolk House Sitting Assignment. The local area is steeped in history, and the Old Mill is an iconic local landmark that is a constant reminder of this area’s past.

We house sat in Redondo for 4th of July. Now I have visitation rights to take my new BFF on some dog friendly trails in Los Angeles.
