Romancing the Genres: 10th Anniversary

Romancing the Genres 10th anniversary

Romancing The Genres is a collaboration of writers (from newbies to multi-published authors) who write in many different sub-genres and each bringing a unique perspective to not only their own stories but to their perception of Romance. Over the years hybrid authors have been added to the mix—who write both fiction and non-fiction. But I’m the first contributor who is 100% non-fiction. I wouldn’t know how to write a fictional romance novel, but just because I don’t write fiction, doesn’t mean I can’t write about romance.

Each month the site owners set a prompt, and although its use is not mandatory I like the idea of writing to a prompt and seeing what evolves in my article. The June prompt is 10th Anniversary in honour of their blog’s 10 year’s in existence, so I looked back at my blog from ten years ago to see what I was doing in my own blogging and travel journey.

Romancing the Genres Snapshot May

My guest posts are scheduled for the last Wednesday of each month, so please visit Romancing the Genres to read my contributions. While you’re there, please leave a comment to show support for this writer’s collective.

I used my monthly Romancing the Genre article to look back at my own blogging journey. #travelblogger. Share on X
